From Paris with love x

Hello! And here is my long awaited haul from my 6 week trip to Paris. Paris is one of my favourite cities in the world. The buildings, the people, the style. I’m going to now start posting every Monday and hopefully another day in the week too. I did buy a few other bits from our travels but here are a few of my favorite things! Haha.

First up : CHANEL inspired sling backs with block heel. Around  40 euros. Zara.

If you can’t shell out for chanel fashion wear like me then French Zara has some beautiful cheaper alternatives. What makes these stand out is the silver ankle strap.

Next is : Real Leather shoulder bag with faux cowskin on the front, metal chunky strap. Around 80 euros. Zara.

I love this bag. It’s another chanel look a like. But it definitely doesn’t feel like the cheap alternative. The bag has weight to it and the leather is soft. I normally don’t spend this much on bags. But Paris was a once in a lifetime experience so I did spend a little more on items than I normally would.

Another bag I bought was this nice shoulder bag from Aldo. Around 55 euros.

As soon as I saw the gold chain I fell in love. Black and gold is such a strong, powerful combination for me. Aldo is slowly becoming one of my favourite stores along with Zara.

Some beauty bits were: The Marc Jacobs #instamarc contouring powder. Around 45 euros. Sephora.

I wanted to get a couple of luxury beauty bits to christen my first visit to a Sephora. I got this from the Champs-Elysee one, which is a very famous one. The store was so vibrant and fast moving. They open till 11pm at night! I’d heard a lot about the Marc Jacobs range so I thought I’d try this. It’s promise was to make you “selfie” ready. Hmm I’m not entirely sure I love it yet. I bought the medium shade and when I was contouring, I felt like I could hardly see the powder to even blend it. But when  I saw a picture of myself, I could see the shade and highlight. I don’t think it’s worth the hype though. And especially after his comments on cultural issues recently , I don’t think I will be repurchasing  anytime soon.

Here is something that will always remind me of Paris and that’s why I got it:Laduree blush and compact . Around 30 euros. Sephora.

So beautifully packaged. So lady like. And very pigmented.

Another shoe buy from Zara! I’m a shoe lover as you can tell. Beige ankle flats with studs. In the sale for around 15 euros.

I absolutely love these. I could wear them every day. They are so comfortable and because of the neutral colours, they go with everything. Because of the studs, they are an amazing statement piece. They remind me of the Valentino rock studs.

Last of all my beautiful blue velvet rucksack from Zara. Around  45 euros.

I looooooooooove this. Everyone comments on how stylish this is. I wear it almost every day. Well done Zara France, you have made me proud.

Well that’s some of my favourite bits from Paris. I did also get some things from Kiko Milano, more mini bits from Sephora like my first beauty blender! And some makeup prep bits from Mac. I hope you enjoyed this haul, and hopefully I should be attending an event to review for my next blog!

Bye bye
