My current skincare routine.

Hey everyone, I’m really trying to get into a blogging schedule. It’s been a bit chaotic so please bear with me. I’ve finally after 26 years on this planet (shocking I know ), have got a reasonable skincare routine. It still needs tweaking and I want to experiment with more products, but I’ve been getting so many comments on how my skin has improved. I started getting acne in my early teens and from then I have always scarred very easily. Through acne and not always leaving the spots alone, then not treating the blemishes as soon as they appear, I have many old acne scars. I’ve been searching for something to eradicate them but I have found some products that have not made them so visible. I think the key though, no matter how hyped your products are or how cheap they may be, it’s consistency.

Products need to be applied at least for a good few weeks for you to see a difference. I’ve been using mine for around 6 weeks and I feel so much better. Also my makeup application is a lot more flawless. So here is what I’ve been using.

I have normal/oily skin:

I bought a tea tree set from the body shop in Paris and I love it. The tea tree is so refreshing. I use a facial wash, followed by a buffing powder to lightly exfoliate the skin. I’ve been using porridge oats for this so it won’t cost a bomb! After that I have a tea tree serum to work on the blemishes. Then I use probably my fave product from the set, which is the mattifying lotion. This mattifies your pores so makeup can look flawless.

I heard a few beauty bloggers like ‘Samantha Maria’ talking about facial oils so I thought I would head to superdrug and find a drugstore priced one to start me off. I chose the ‘loreal extraordinary oil’, costs  £13.99. It was on offer at the time, where if you buy two products you get a free superdrug gift set. This oil makes my face feel like I’m at the spa. It feels warm when rubbed into the skin and my face always looks so healthy and glowy after. I’m loving the fact I’m getting together a little routine ,and there’s a few more things I want to add to it such as a toner and facial brush. Well that’s my routine and I hope to do another post as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading!

Do you think the tea tree range is working in the long run to prevent blemishes? Cause I always want to try it again but I remember using it in the past and now sensing any change. Loved reading this xoxo my latest post 💕

I wouldn’t say It’s preventative, but I do feel like it’s made them appear lighter so they are not as noticeable. And thank you for reading!
