My November Beauty faves

Hey all, can you believe it’s the last month of 2016?! For some reason November felt like the longest month ever. I started college this month and so my week has changed but my blogs shall remain on Thursday. A little goal for 2017 will be to post twice a week. But anyway let’s get into my fave beauty products!

Bobbi Brown retouching wand : I’ve been looking for an under eye concealer as i feel my under eye is way too dark for my liking. I also felt that the current one I was using, (mac) was too thick and sitting in creases under my eye. I told the woman at the bobbi brown counter and she informed me i needed to be wearing eye cream to plump up the skin.. I was mortified! That really made me aware that the aging has well and truly started. Haha Anyway she suggested I try the retouching wand. I love it because it feels lightweight and I feel it brightens my eye area. It comes in a stick that you have to click to push the product to the sponge. I also feel that a little goes a long way with this, as you only need a couple of clicks before application.Definitely a thumbs up!

Next is the Kate Rimmel blush, highlight and contour palette: I love this little palette. I do carry it most places as it has everything you need in it to freshen up your face on the go. Mine is in the medium/dark shade. The blush is very subtle and pretty, the contour the same, and the highlight is quite pigmented for a drugstore palette. If you are more into ‘ non-touring’ , this is for you.

Charlotte Tilbury lightweight foundation and filmstar glow compact: With this brand, I feel you definitely get what you pay for. It is pricey but the results are amazing. The foundation makes my skin look airbrushed, and you don’t need a lot of the product to get this look. When I’m wearing it, it just looks like an enhanced version of my skin. It doesn’t look cakey or thick. Definitely will be repurchasing this one. Now the filmstar glow, it comes with a sculpt product and a highlight. OMD. The first time I put this on, my first word was wow! With one swipe on each cheek, the contour was on fleek. And the highlight was shimmery and beautiful. I think I will try to save it for more special occasions as i dont want it to run out!

Real Techniques buffing brush: I’ve had this brush for a while, it was one of the first brushes I ever bought when I started getting into makeup. I’ve been using it a lot this month. A lot more than the sponge or beautyblender. The buffing brush buffs the product into the skin, and assists any foundation whether high or low end to looking flawless. Makeup really is all about the blending.

Morphe under eye setting brush: I bought this brush as i am currently practicing getting the ‘baking’ right under my eyes. I wanted this to get a more defined concealer and powder bake. So far, so good.

Maybelline Lash Sensational : I’ve said it before and I don’t care if I’m saying it again. Best mascara ever.

Bourjois Rouge velvet in ‘Beau brun’: I bought this so long ago, and didn’t use it. But now I’m obsessed with it. Its such a pretty, everyday shade. It’s a good dupe for the Dior in my last blog ( check it out) and this is probably a quarter of the price.I definitely need to explore more of the Bourjois range.

Well that’s my favourites this month, I think I might start to include other favourites in my post not just beauty bits? Let me know what you think.

Enjoy Your week
